IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
COLLECTION:
All orders need to be collected from the farm on Tuesday 23rd December between 08:30am to 03:00pm
This year time slots will be allocated for collection. Please indicate your preference and we will do our best to accommodate your request but you may be contacted to move slots if necessary. This is in order to create a more efficient pickup.
A £25 deposit is required to secure your Christmas meat order.
Poultry can be ordered by the pound.
Anyone collecting a Turkey/Christmas Joint order over £50 will be entitled to a free bacon roll (before 10:00am) or a hog roast roll (post 10:00am). Extra rolls will be available to purchase on the day for family and friends.
Last date for ordering a Turkey is 11th December - although its always worth a try after this date.
CHOOSING YOUR MEAT:
Beef, lamb and pork can be ordered by the kilograms.
All turkeys are barn reared on straw, hand plucked and hung, like game, for superb taste and texture. The following prices should be used as a guide to approximate the cost of your bird.
- A Cockerel will cost £4.60 per lb and will weigh between 8-15lb
- A turkey will cost £5.20 per lb

CONSUMPTION GUIDE:
Don't forget that the average person will eat 1.5 servings of turkey on Christmas day!
Oven Ready Weight: 10 to 14lbs - Servings = 12 to 18
Oven Ready Weight: 14 to 16.5lbs - Servings = 18 to 22
Oven Ready Weight: 16.5 to 20lbs - Servings = 22 to 26
Turkey crowns will cost an additional £8.00
You will receive your Turkey crown and a boneless joint created from the crowning process for you to enjoy at a later date.

Remember crowns will weigh 2lbs less than the oven ready weight.
The preferred means of communication throughout the process will be via email so as to make sure that information can be relayed in a clear and consistent manner.
Please remember we have an extensive stock of all other items housed in the farm shop so don't forget for either you or your designated collector to pop in to purchase any other food or drink that you may need.
FRUIT AND VEGETABLE REQUIREMENTS:
Fruit and vegetable order forms can be obtained from Richard and Rebecca from their outside shop area on a Saturday and Sunday. They can be contacted by phone on 07946 784136 or via email to richardgoodger.rg@gmail.com. These items are not sold directly through us.
