TIPS ON HOW TO OPTIMISE YOUR POOL EXPERIENCE:
Are you ready to make swimming a part of your routine but do not know what to expect?
These tips will help you get started and make swimming more fun.
Choose the right gear. There are a few essential items that will help make swimming more enjoyable. In addition to a pair of goggles and a swim suit, you can incorporate items like a pull buoy and center snorkel.
Maintain your distance. Many swim spa owners discover there's a sweet spot in the water current. Your hands should be about a foot from the jets or propulsion when your arms are extended.
Head down, hands forward. The water current of the swim spa can highlight any imbalance or inefficiency in your swim stroke. Some people might even say that they are "tossed around." To stay in the center of the spa, keep your gaze down and your finger tips pointing front and center.
Ease into a swimming routine. Start with swimming 10 minutes per session, then gradually increasing the time. You can also add in intervals, swimming against the current for 30 seconds and then resting for 30 seconds. As you get more comfortable, you can increase the length of your swim period.
Be consistent. The only way to get better at swimming in a swim spa is to swim. Maintaining a consistent routine will help you get more comfortable in the water.
