CAMPSITE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
GENERAL:
New Lodge Farm Caravan and Camping is an adult only site, all guests and their visitors must be over 18 years of age.
A speed limit of 5mph is deployed throughout the site for the consideration and safety of our guests.
The site operates a one-way system for the safety of all guests. Please do not drive the wrong way around our site it is potentially dangerous and inconvenient for other visitors.
There is a designated stone chip driveway around the site. Please do not drive across the central grass islands or verges as a means of taking a shortcut.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any breed of Rottweiler, Mastiff or Tosa.
Dogs must be kept on their leads throughout the site other than the designated dog walk area. You will be fully liable for any financial costs related to your pet attacking another or our livestock.
We do not normally accept group bookings or parties where we consider the numbers attending to have a detrimental impact on our other guests holiday experience. However, we do accept organised rallies on to our site.
Guests are asked to keep noise to a minimum at all times but particularly between 11:00pm and 08:00am for the benefit of everyone.
We do allow visitors to our guests as long as we have advanced warning or they report to the site office to be checked in prior to walking on to the campsite. There should be no more than two visitors per pitch (without prior agreement) and all visitors must leave site before 10:00pm. Please remember we are adults only so no under 18's are allowed to stay or visit the campsite, however temporary the nature of the visit.
Learner drivers and those under instruction are not permitted to drive on the site
We politely ask that people refrain from kite flying or erecting Flags or banners as they frighten our bird population that many visitors specifically attend site to observe.
The flying of drones over the site is strictly prohibited without prior notification and appropriate consent of the owners.
We do not allow vehicles or vans with commercial signage on the campsite.
All units and associated items must be pitched within the designated area provided and must not encroach on other pitches or the grass surrounds. You will be asked to move and re-site any unit or items that do not fit within the pitch boundaries.
Cleaning of units is not normally permitted. You will need to seek permission from the campsite management team.
The waste disposal points are provided for normal household waste and recycling. Disposal of awnings, gazebos, BBQ’s, carpets, tables, chairs, other furniture, domestic appliances and other large items will incur a financial penalty per item and possible suspension from further site visits.
We are an eco friendly site, which means we do not allow guests to burn any acrid materials that are brought to fuel firepits or barbeques. We specifically sell eco friendly logs for this purpose and comply with our eco requirements.
BEHAVIOUR:
It is important that both our guests and our staff act in a civil manner toward one another at all times. Whilst we will ensure this to be the case with our staff, any guest demonstrating aggressive or abusive behaviour toward our staff or other guests will have their booking terminated immediately, without refund and be ejected from site.
BOOKING:
Full payment is taken at the time of booking.
A minimum booking of 3 nights is required over Bank Holiday weekends.
A minimum booking of two nights are required for Glamping Units on a Friday or Saturday.
There should be a maximum of 1 pitch per booking as it is important accurate details of guest occupancy are recorded for fire and safety purposes.
Pitches cannot be reserved. We only reserve pitches for those guests with mobility issues. Pitch occupation is based on a first come, first serve basis.
Occupancy rates are based on 2 adults per booking. Additional adults up to 4 persons per pitch will be charged at the appropriate rates specified on our tariffs section.
Well behaved and restrained dogs are welcome at our site.
A maximum of two dogs per pitch.
There are no dogs allowed in the Glamping Units.
A restriction of one car (as well as the living unit) is allowed per pitch.
Sign written/commercial vehicles are not accepted on site.
Additional cars can be accommodated in our overflow car park by prior agreement with the Park Manager at a cost of £5.00 per night.
We ask you to not leave your vehicle in the main car park especially at weekends as this can take valuable spaces from visiting Farm Shop and Café Bar customers. You may be asked to move your car if it causes an obstruction or is not parked in the designated overflow section.
The name provided throughout the booking will be responsible for adherence to the site rules and the cost of repairing breakages or other such damage caused during the stay.
If for whatever reason you are unable to leave site at the appointed time, current charges will be applied to the rest of time spent on the campsite.
CANCELLATION:
Unless prior arrangements have been made, we reserve the right to re let a pitch unclaimed after 8 pm on the evening of arrival.
In all circumstances a refund or booking transfer will be made available on cancellations up to 14 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival.
If a booking transfer is agreed, a £6 booking transfer administration charge will be required and paid prior to the transfer being processed.
No refunds will be made if a cancellation falls within the 14 days prior to arrival. There are no exceptions to these cancellation conditions.
If a cancellation occurs with in the permitted timescale, which is too close to the end of the campsite season to accommodate a transfer to a new season may be authorised, but at the new pitch price rates with the original fee being used as a credit.
Please note that New Lodge Farm can only refund the amount of the tariff we receive and not any booking fee charged by other third party online booking providers you may have used.
We would recommend on higher value bookings that the customer seek and purchase holiday insurance.
ARRIVAL:
Caravan, Motorhome and Camping arrival time no earlier than 12:00p.m. and no later than 8:00pm on the day of your booking.
Glamping Unit arrival times are no earlier than 3:00pm and no later than 8:00pm on the day of your booking.
If you arrive sooner you may be asked to wait in the Cafe Bar until the appropriate time.
DEPARTURE:
Caravan/ Motorhome and tent Pitches must be vacated by 11:00am on the day of departure.
Glamping Units must be vacated by 10:00am on the day of the departure.
Extended stays may be available by prior arrangement with reception.
No refunds can be given for early departure.
IMPORTANT:
Where we endeavour to provide a safe and secure environment, it is imperative that our guests perform their own self-assessment as to whether they possess a sufficiently acceptable level of health to be able to enjoy our campsite, its facilities, and the environment. To this end, it is entirely the responsibility of the individual to make this assessment and establish if they retain a sufficient level of mental and physical well-being to enjoy their stay safely.
We reserve the right to terminate the booking/agreement without refund of money and eject any guest if their behaviour breaches any of the terms and conditions mentioned or who consciously attempts to spoil the enjoyment of other guests. Anyone breaching rules or causing disruption will be ejected from the site immediately.
Please note, we retain the right, during times of extreme weather conditions to suspend the use of firepits and barbeques on the site for fire, health and safety reasons.
Peace of mind should you need to cancel your stay (non-Covid reasons)
New Lodge Farm’s cancellation plan does not cover you for Pandemic or Epidemic situations.
COVER CRITERIA:
- The death, bodily injury, illness or admission to hospital as an in-patient to you or any other member of your party or immediate family where the cancellation is certified as medically necessary by a medical practitioner. (Excludes pets).
- Redundancy qualifying for payment under any applicable statute of any person in your party.
- You or a person in your party being required for compulsory jury or witness service in a Court of Law in proceedings to be undertaken in the time between their leaving home to start the holiday and returning home after the holiday.
CHARGES:
- Immediate family means the partner, or the child, grandchild, brother, sister, parent or grandparent of you or a person in your party.
- Qualified Medical Practitioner a doctor or specialist who is registered or licensed to practice medicine under the laws of the country in which they practice.
- If you need to cancel for a qualifying reason, please contact us immediately by phone and then by email or letter. We will acknowledge the cancellation and ask for the relevant documentary evidence to be sent.
- We will deal with the claim and make payment within 14 working days of receiving the required documentary evidence, subject to the claim qualifying under the terms of the cancellation plan.
INTRODUCTION:
To help you get the best out of our swim spa and to understand our responsibilities to you and your responsibilities to us, please read these terms and conditions. The language we use should make these terms and conditions as clear as possible. If you have any questions, a member of our swim spa team will be happy to help you.
These terms and conditions apply to all users of our swim spa. They are necessary to make sure we can offer an enjoyable and safe environment for you and other users during every visit to our swim spa.
These terms and conditions apply at all times and take priority over anything our swim spa staff might have told you. However, these terms and conditions may be altered at our discretion and without notice.
DEFINITIONS:
‘You’ means any person using our swim spa facilities;
‘We’ and ‘us’ refers to New Lodge Farm and members of its staff.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
This facility and the location it is situated in is adults only, which means anyone under the age of 18 is not permitted on to site or is able to use the swim spa.
We are a ‘members only’ establishment and although we will send you reminders about renewal it will be entirely your responsibility to carry out the renewal / termination process.
If any of the following terms and conditions are not adhered to or it is felt a guests behaviour is unacceptable, rude or affecting other guests enjoyment of the locations facilities then we reserve the right to ask the offending individual / party to leave the premises with immediate effect. It may also mean that the member concerned either as an individual or part of a group will have their membership terminated with immediate effect and without remuneration of any kind.
Use only the time you have booked. You must allow, within your allotted time, for undressing, drying off and re-dressing
We do allow music to be played whilst using the spa but the volume and general noise needs to be kept at an acceptable level and not become an annoyance to other guests visiting the location.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
You are entitled to cancel your reservation with us upto 7 days before you’re appointment. You will be offered another appointment time or receive a full refund at this time. If you cancel within the 7 days of your visit, for whatever reason, no transference or refund will be available.
GENERAL HEALTH AND SAFETY:
As your safety is our main priority, we do not allow food, drink or glass containers inside our swim spa but in order for you to remain hydrated at all times, plastic bottles that contain water are allowed. You must ensure you stay hydrated at all times.
We recommend you not use our swim spa facilities if you have had a large meal in the 90 minutes prior to the booking and under no circumstances should you use the facilities if you have been affected by the consumption of alcohol.
Smoking is not permitted in or outside of the premises at any time.
We do not allow pets (except for registered working assistance dogs) in our swim spa area.
To protect the safety of all our swim spa guests, you must pay particular attention to the information provided and all signs relating to health and safety. If you do not understand a notice or sign please ask a member of the swim spa team.
Fire exits are clearly marked throughout our swim spa. If there is a fire or if you hear the fire alarm, you should make your way out of our swim spa through the nearest possible exit to the advertised assembly point in the car park.
If you suffer an accident or injury whilst in our swim spa, you must report it and the circumstances under which it happened to a senior manager on duty immediately.
While you are at our swim spa, we expect you to behave appropriately, respectfully and politely, and dress appropriately at all times. We can and will prevent you from entering the swim spa or ask you to leave if we think that your behaviour or appearance is not suitable without any refund of monies paid.
You should not use facilities if you have an infectious illness or condition including but not limited to any of the following:
a heart condition (heart attack, angina, irregular heartbeat or hole in the heart);
high or low blood pressure;
back or joint problems;
suffer from diabetes;
suffer from respiratory illness (asthma, bronchitis or emphysema);
feel faint / dizzy;
are under some medication or undergoing medical treatments for any illness;
any serious injury or operation with the last 18 months;
are pregnant (or have given birth in the last 3 months).
You should not take part in any physical activity that you may not be fit for.

MAIN CAR PARK:
You are only entitled to use the car park while you are using our swim spa facilities. You must park only in the spaces in our car park that are identified for use in connection with the swim spa.
If you do not have a disabled badge you must not park in the spaces reserved for disabled badge holders.
We do not guarantee that car parking is available at any Our swim spa.
You park in the car park at your own risk. We do not accept liability for any loss or damage to your car, or personal belongings in it, while you are parked in our car park.
SPA BUILDING:
We do not provide constant supervision to our spa, there is no poolside lifeguard. We ask you are mindful of this when entering the pool area. Additional rules may be published in the pool area, diving is not permitted under any circumstances
For health and hygiene reasons, you must make sure you and your guests shower before using entering the spa and also if you leave and re-enter the spa for any reason.
You must at all times follow the rules and guidelines displayed in our swim spa and any instructions any swim spa staff gives you.
Items such as floats and inflatable items are not allowed.
You are not allowed to use snorkels, masks, fins, flippers, radios or lilos in the pool.
You are not allowed to shave, exfoliate (remove dead skin), use oils or conditioners in the swim spa
Eating and drinking in the spa or internally within the building is strictly prohibited.
You should not use the facilities for longer than the recommended time.
Lockers and Personal Items
You bring all personal belongings to our swim spa at your own risk. We do not accept legal responsibility for any loss or damage to these items.
If you lose a key to any locker you will have to pay a fee to cover the cost of a new key or lock as appropriate.
If you leave your belongings in a locker after your session, we have the right to remove your belongings. You can claim the belongings we have removed from the swim spa reception for up to two weeks after we remove them. After this time, we will not be responsible for the belongings.
If you find lost property, you must hand it into Our swim spa reception immediately. We will hold items for three weeks only before giving them to charity.
You may take photographs and video recordings in our swim spa for your own personal use provided that you keep to these rules and any extra rules displayed at our swim spa.
Anyone who appears in your photographs or videos must be aware that you are filming them and you must get their permission first.
You must not take photographs or video recordings if another member of your group is unhappy that you are filming them. If we receive a complaint, we may ask you to show us any images which you have taken in the swim spa and to delete them if appropriate. If a member of our team asks you to stop filming or taking photographs you must do so.
CCTV:
Closed circuit cameras operate throughout the premises except in the changing areas. Any unlawful activity may be reviewed for possible legal action.
LIABILITY:
Neither us or the swim spa will accept liability for any damage or loss to a guest’s personal property brought into the premises.
All activities are taken at the guest’s own risk.
Neither us or our swim spa nor our staff shall be liable for personal injury sustained by guests whilst on the premises, except in so far as it can be proven that this relates to the wilful act, neglect or default of us, our swim spa or any member of staff.
You park in the car park at your own risk. We do not accept liability for any loss or damage to your car, or personal belongings in it, while you are parked in our car park.
DAMAGES:
The organisation reserves the right to claim any financial incurrence from repairs and rectification of its spa, accessories, peripherals and building due to breakages and damages during your appointment.
